Wow. It's hard to describe how wonderful our experience with Carolina was! She is incredibly talented and loves what she does. We truly didn't have to worry about a thing. She was incredibly responsive at any time of day or night throughout the entire planning process, kept us on track when we needed to make decisions and submit payments. Even with last minute changes and stress because of covid, Carolina planned and executed our dream wedding. We will never forget it! We both wish we could get married again so we could have the experience all over again. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The venue, photographer, food, hair and makeup vendors that Carolina shared with us turned out to be top notch. She knows so many top people in the business. She won't steer you wrong. Do not hesitate for a second in hiring her. I'm sad my wedding is over because we won't get to communicate regularly with her anymore! Thank you so much Carolina!
Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start, but I will start off saying that hiring Carolina Almazan was the best decision we made in our wedding planning. Our wedding planning started in early 2020, and Carolina was with us every step of the way. We flew to Puerto Vallarta to meet her (right before the pandemic hit) and we spent two days touring different hotels/venues. Carolina prepared a touring agenda with places we selected, and places she recommended. She was very knowledgeable with the industry offering pros/cons of each location, and really spent time getting to know us as a couple as well. Once we selected a venue, Carolina offered advice when it came to contract negotiations, schedule, and was always available to answer our questions. In the summer of 2020, we decided it was best to postpone our wedding to the following year, and Carolina made this process as seamless as possible. Once we finally began planning again, it was game time! Carolina went ABOVE and BEYOND in all areas. She was with us in all meetings with the venue for the wedding, making sure no details were missed. She stepped in to direct our rehearsal when the coordinator was not available. She assisted with shopping for items for our welcome bags, and assembly along with her amazing assistant Sony. She totally EXCEEDED my expectations for the wedding decor. Everything was picture perfect, every detail well thought out, and even threw in some extras! This day would not have been able to happen without her help, and it was the best decision we made HANDS DOWN. Carolina was the best wedding planner we could have ever asked for, and not only that, but she is an amazing and kind person through and through. We not only gained a wedding planner, but also a friend :) I can probably keep going but I will end it here with saying, if you are looking for a wedding planner, Carolina is your person! (if she can plan a wedding during a pandemic, she can handle anything! lol)
Alex and I cannot express enough gratitude to Carolina for the amazing job she did planning her wedding. From start to finish she was informative, professional, provided direction, and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had during the planning process. Her personality is kind, calm, and positive, which made her wonderful and comforting to work with. She would make suggestions, but always deferred to what we wanted. Carolina very quickly understood my daughters’ sense of style and where we provided direction, she took Alex's ideas and thoughts and the results were beyond our expectations. It was the most amazing combination of elegance and celebration!
My daughter was married at the St. Regis in Punta Mita, Mexico. We are located on both the east and west coast of the United States. Planning a wedding through emails, text, phone, and videos can certainly be challenging, but Carolina led us through a flawless 9 months. She coordinated an event planning trip to the St. Regis prior to the wedding and took care of every detail. Not only did she arrange an onsite meeting with every vendor, she also prepared an actual wedding table set up for us to view. She had a great reputation and relationship with Yara our St. Regis event planner as well. We returned to the states knowing 1st hand that we had made the right decision in choosing Carolina.
The actual wedding day was amazing, but what we appreciated the most was her positivity and passion which was visible in every aspect of the wedding. Working with her was a true pleasure!

I was referred to Carolina by another couple in the states who sang her praises and now I know why! Before we hired Carolina we had already selected our venue (W Punta Mita) which offered us a complimentary wedding coordinator to help with the wedding. We actually thought seriously about not hiring a planner to save money but I quickly realized how much goes into planning a wedding and how necessary it is to have someone who is fully dedicated and invested in your special day. So i started searching instagram for pictures of weddings I liked, and was able to connect with another bride who hired Carolina. From that day on, Carolina became part of our family. She was an absolute joy to work with from beginning to end. I am SOOO thankful for her! So if you're looking for a planner, let me just tell you that Carolina has been doing weddings in the Puerto Vallarta/Punta Mita area for years and knows everyone. And everyone loves working with her. She knows all the options available, the best suppliers, how to get the best prices, and how most importantly how to execute. Her ability to execute is what amazes me the most. You tell her something and she never forgets it and always follows through to make it happen. It amazed me. So I definitely recommend that if you have a dream for your wedding, reach out to Carolina and she will be with you every step of the way to make it happen.
Full disclosure our wedding is actually postponed due to Covid-19. We had everything 100% planned and ready to go (because Carolina is amazing like that) so changing the date was the easiest thing - i didn't have to lift a finger. So once we have our wedding I will post photos and an updated review!!
We highly recommend Carolina. She is an exceptional event planner. What’s more, she is person you can count on for bringing integrity, value, joy and inspiration to any event, especially a wedding. She helped my wife and I plan and organize the most incredible wedding at the St. Regis Punta Mita in November of 2017. Carolina demonstrated all the qualities one hopes for in an event planner. She is a gifted listener, calm and easy-going – professional person and has an uncanny ability to transform a messy mix of preferences, needs, and budget into a well-crafted, well run event. What distinguishes her from other excellent planners is her obvious love and commitment to her job that far exceed the expectations of her clients.
Being that we live in California and were hosting a 120 person, four-day wedding extravaganza, there was no room for error in any details. After a few short meetings, Carolina and her team did the rest. The wedding as well the entire weekend event from beginning to end was effortless on our part and flawless in execution by Carolina and her team. Not only did the event go well, Carolina and her team were masterful at creating and maintaining a space where everyone there felt taken care of and called to have an exceptional experience -- the party and event got rave reviews. To this day we still hear from friends and family asking when we’re going back to relive our “amazing Punta Mita Wedding”.
