My husband and I live in the US but wanted to have a small wedding ceremony (~25 guests) in Puerto Vallarta where we had visited 2 years prior. We were worried it was going to be hard planning a wedding from so far away but hiring Carolina banished all of our fears. We already knew from looking at her past weddings/events that she has an amazing eye for design/aesthetic. What we didn’t know was how she would go above and beyond in everything – she was always professional, dependable and addressed all of our needs/concerns. She understood our vision and recommended vendors that she knew would execute day of. She helped us stay within our budget while also recommending extras that might be nice (and they were!). After we made our choices, she handled everything else. We pretty much had no worries, and wedding planning was never stressful knowing Caro had our backs.
The day of was an absolute dream. All of her assistants were so kind and professional. The vendors (makeup artist, photographer, flowers, catering, DJ, etc) were simply stellar. All of our guests were amazed by the venue and the atmosphere. None of it would have been possible without Carolina and her impeccable work. She is such a kind soul and will do whatever she can to bring every detail of your dream wedding to life. Don’t hesitate to work with her! You will not regret it. Words cannot describe how valuable Carolina’s services were in planning our wedding! We got engaged in Puerto Vallarta in June of 2021 and two days later we met with Carolina to discuss planning our wedding. From the moment we met her we were struck by her professionalism, experience level & down to earth personality.
Carolina has been doing weddings in Puerto Vallarta for over 15 years and it was her experience level that helped us to create our dream wedding. From day one Carolina was there to lead the way, making sure we understood what we needed to get done and when it needed to be done by. From venue selection to table mock ups, she provided us with all of the information to make the best decisions for us. She worked tirelessly with us to make sure we were on budget for our big day. When the resort we were staying at didn’t have availability for our wedding, she found us a beach venue at a fraction of the cost.
The day of our wedding was seamless. Carolina and her team were there for everything from guest transportation to vendor set up and tear down. We did not have to worry about a single thing other than enjoying our special day. While planning our wedding over the course of the last year and a half Carolina has become more just our wedding planner — we are truly lucky to call her a friend!
I don’t even know where to begin with Carolina… When my husband and I knew that we wanted to get married out of New York and out of the states we knew Mexico especially the W hotel in PUNTA MITA would be where we would celebrate! We had visited in the past and fell in love with everything to do with that part of Mexico and that hotel … Planning a wedding is difficult anywhere but planning on it is different country is a whole other ball game. Although I am very type-a and I love to plan things thoroughly, and I’m very organized -there is no way I would be able to pull off finding the perfect vendors, florists, all the special features that i want to incorporate in our wedding without hiring Carolina . from the moment that we started chatting through FaceTime I knew She was the one!
Conversing with her was like talking with a friend… Easily talking through WhatsApp and emails almost every single day until we met in February 2022 in person at the hotel to do a walk-through! She was just as amazing in person as she is through the phone and she was so thorough going through her plan, what we wanted the day of, all the features and really trying to embody both Steve and I and my vision for the day! Being as organized as I am I have course send her all of my visions of amazing tables with pompous grass and candles very BoHo chic! We had sent collages back-and-forth to each other and I knew I was an amazing hands. She helped us soup to nuts with everything and anything we could think of and I could’ve imagined!
Carolina helped organize music for a welcome dinner which happened to be my now husband‘s 40th birthday party, she helped organize and touch base with every single vendor we had, helped with the welcome bags and did literally every and anything in between. I truly have no words to describe our wedding. It was straight out of a movie and a fairytale combined… Every single thing I envisioned in my head and on my Pinterest board she made come to life times 10! I cannot recommend her enough ! I wish I could get married to Steve over and over again just to have her plan our amazing day! Do not hesitate for a second you will have the most amazing experience with Carolina and her team and also gain a lifelong amazing friend at the same time.
Our wedding would not have happened if it wasn’t for Carolina. She was there to guide us from start to finish and help us with all of the logistics of the wedding planning process, and all of the design choices of our wedding. We know that we were a needy couple and had a lot of requests, but Carolina stuck with us, and was always so kind in every interaction. She locally sourced all of our flowers and vendors for our wedding, and even made our dreams come true with helping us to get custom Talavera shot glasses made for our welcome shot wall.
Carolina was there on the day of our wedding to also help with setting everything up and vendor coordination. She even worked on her birthday to help our wedding go off without a hitch. If you are considering planning a wedding in Punta Mita or surrounding areas, you should 100000% reach out to Carolina and use her services for your dream wedding.

Wow. It’s hard to describe how wonderful our experience with Carolina was! She is incredibly talented and loves what she does. We truly didn’t have to worry about a thing. She was incredibly responsive at any time of day or night throughout the entire planning process, kept us on track when we needed to make decisions and submit payments. Even with last minute changes and stress because of covid, Carolina planned and executed our dream wedding. We will never forget it!
We both wish we could get married again so we could have the experience all over again. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The venue, photographer, food, hair and makeup vendors that Carolina shared with us turned out to be top notch. She knows so many top people in the business. She won’t steer you wrong. Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to start, but I will start off saying that hiring Carolina Almazan was the best decision we made in our wedding planning. Our wedding planning started in early 2020, and Carolina was with us every step of the way. We flew to Puerto Vallarta to meet her (right before the pandemic hit) and we spent two days touring different hotels/venues. Carolina prepared a touring agenda with places we selected, and places she recommended. She was very knowledgeable with the industry offering pros/cons of each location, and really spent time getting to know us as a couple as well. Once we selected a venue, Carolina offered advice when it came to contract negotiations, schedule, and was always available to answer our questions.
In the summer of 2020, we decided it was best to postpone our wedding to the following year, and Carolina made this process as seamless as possible. Once we finally began planning again, it was game time! Carolina went ABOVE and BEYOND in all areas. She was with us in all meetings with the venue for the wedding, making sure no details were missed. She stepped in to direct our rehearsal when the coordinator was not available. She assisted with shopping for items for our welcome bags, and assembly along with her amazing assistant Sony.
She totally EXCEEDED my expectations for the wedding decor. Everything was picture perfect, every detail well thought out, and even threw in some extras! This day would not have been able to happen without her help, and it was the best decision we made HANDS DOWN. Carolina was the best wedding planner we could have ever asked for, and not only that, but she is an amazing and kind person through and through. We not only gained a wedding planner, but also a friend 🙂
I can probably keep going but I will end it here with saying, if you are looking for a wedding planner, Carolina is your person! (if she can plan a wedding during a pandemic, she can handle anything! lol)
No review could properly capture how incredibly wonderful Carolina Almazan and her team is at planning your dream wedding!!! I was referred to Carolina by another couple in the states who sang her praises and now I know why! Before we hired Carolina we had already selected our venue (W Punta Mita) which offered us a complimentary wedding coordinator to help with the wedding. We actually thought seriously about not hiring a planner to save money but I quickly realized how much goes into planning a wedding and how necessary it is to have someone who is fully dedicated and invested in your special day. So i started searching instagram for pictures of weddings I liked, and was able to connect with another bride who hired Carolina. From that day on, Carolina became part of our family. She was an absolute joy to work with from beginning to end. I am SOOO thankful for her!
So if you’re looking for a planner, let me just tell you that Carolina has been doing weddings in the Puerto Vallarta/Punta Mita area for years and knows everyone. And everyone loves working with her. She knows all the options available, the best suppliers, how to get the best prices, and how most importantly how to execute. Her ability to execute is what amazes me the most. You tell her something and she never forgets it and always follows through to make it happen. It amazed me.
